The coco bread was over cooked and I didn't get as much curry goat like I use to get from there oxtail was good and plenty
I ordered the Jerk Platter and Coco Bread. Everything was really good! The flavors were excellent and the portions were huge. I ordered online and it was ready for pickup very quickly. Excited to come back!
Saw these guys on facebook and decided to check them out... and oh my, the food is killer! Their Mac and cheese is amazing along with their plantains. Very generous size portions too. But I’m telling you, you have to get a ginger beer with your meal. It will take your food to the next level!
The food is well seasoned, generous portions, and reasonably price. I've never had a bad experience ordering from this location. My go to order is curry chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. The chicken is always tender and never dry. The rice is always seasoned to perfection. The cabbage is always delicious and full of pepper and carrots. I prefer this location over the Fowler location. I highly recommend the Seminole Heights Jerk Hut. The only complaint I have is that they need to improve the cosmetics of the building. Some fresh paint, refresh the chalkboard sign, etc. Just make it more inviting because it currently looks tired.
I see allot of bad reviews but this was straight great portions for the price, my order was delivered and was still super hot, fresh and absolutely amazing! For what their price point is amazing quality!!
The walk up Jerk Hut has been consistent for years. Still some of the best Jamaican food I've had, including restaurants in Jamaica. Jerk hut is always a must when visiting Tampa.
Authentic Oxtail w peas and rice. Hot off the stove. The only place I've been able to get good Jamaican food out of NY. There are many imitations out there. Don't be fooled. The day I visited it was too cold to eat outside, but the hot meal was worth it. Will definitely be back!
I’ve been going To this restaurant for a long time, I like to support Jamaican food because I’m a Jamaican, but the beef patty was horrible. The last time I went there I don’t know if they fried the beef patty, but they were all greasy with oil tripping from them, the next day. I wake up with a stomach ache Belly is hurting I was going to give a four star review but I decided to still give it five star because normally they give you quality food. I don’t know what’s going on with this restaurant but please you guys need to get it together. I will not buy no more beef patty sure Please hire some people that know what they doing and take pride and customer service. That’s the key to success. I hope you guys resolve this problem and I wish you good luck with your restaurant peace.
